Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called Today; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. Hebrews 3:12-13
Unbeleif will hinder your Faith as a believer in God because it is you rejecting and doubting God and not believing in him as you should. Pray this prayer: Father God increase my Faith and help my unbelief in Jesus name. Most of the times this comes as a result of fears you may have concerning particular areas in your life and walking out in Faith. Also pride can cause the hardening of your heart which will cause you to develop a evil heart of unbeleif. Your heart will be as the scales of leviathin the crooked serpent blocked in which the breath of the Holy Spirit cannot pass through. As this occurs a person will end up departing from the living God gradually not all at once, sometimes you can be unaware of your departure. Unrepentant sin is the cause of a hardened heart along with trauma and pride is what keeps you in unrepentant presumptuous sins. Pray this prayer: Father God deliver me and break through this stony heart and give me a heart of flesh in Jesus name. Thank God for his Grace which he extends daily to deliver you out of your desctructions. Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. -Proverbs 16:18.
This is why it is important to have a relationship with Jesus Christ so that you can have access to your Heavenly Father and have a relationship with him. So that you will be edified and placed in right standing with him, through this edification you will be delivered from any pride that is dwelling within you. You may ask how does that happen, because he will enable you to read his word the Holy Bible wich will show you your condition and current state, he will give you Godly sorrow for sin (a heart of repentance). Not only will he show you, yourself but also his will, his mind, and love so that you can walk uprightly and know him better. All for correction (chasten) , For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?. -Hebrews 12:6-7. Also through prayer and supplication making your request known unto him letting him know you need deliverance ETC whatever it may be in Jesus name. So all this is done through a relationship with God, reading your Bible, prayer and being in his presence. Worst thing a believer can do is walk in unbeleif because you are rejecting the truth and slowly drifting away and departing from the Lord.
It is also important to be in community with your brethrens (brothers & sisters) in the Lord so that you will be held accountable. Doesn’t mean you team up and partner with everyone and anyone but if you allow God to work on your behalf he will allow you communicate with one another and form bonds. This where verse 13 comes in to exhort one another because the Bible also lets us know that iron sharpeneth iron. Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.-Proverb 27:17. You do not know how the Lord will use a person to reach you to Bless you and even answer your prayers. If you didn’t know God uses people in unusual ways, everything you looking for, need and desire doesn’t always come by you obtaining it on your own. As an example when you are looking for a job God will use the manager and allow them to show you favor and grant you the position you are desiring, need and looking for. He will also use someone on that very same job to reccomend you for a promotion. Then you are blown away because you felt that you didn’t deserve it but because of your faithfulness and trust in God he granted it to you in the physical. One of the major reasons why psychological trauma you have and strongholds need to be dealt with because this can be a major enemy to your progress. It can all make you operate in the satanic bondages and strongholds of your past.
That bond, accountability God has given you in the natural that iron will be what keeps you from the deceitfulness of sin along with your relationship with him firstly. You dont even have to open up to them about personal things but the Lord will one way or another ensure that you and even the other person is held accountable. Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. -Ecclesiastes 4:9-10. This is in reference to companionship, bonds, marriages, even the story of Adam in the beginning of time God said it is not good for man to be alone so he made his help mate Eve (marriage). In all it is important to be in community the best way possible and you pray about such a thing always because you cannot partner with any and everyone as mentioned above. The Lord will surely warn you and its imperitive to take heed because the Lord is very clear when he warns. See sin separates us from God which is where the unbeleif is and it diminishes your Faith. Due to the serpent slithering in and whispering deceit into your ears to seperate you from the truth and all God has given to you. But in the name of Jesus I rebuke it all in Jesus name Stay in the Faith in Jesus name.
