Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. -2 Timothy 4:2
No matter the season in your life you find yourself in God calls us his children, servants, mouth pieces, to speak his word. To do his will in season and out of season whether we are struggling or have the victory, whether we feel like it or not. He calls us to do his will because at the end of the day its not about us but who he wants to impact, who he is trying to reach, whatever it is he wants to do through his Holy Spirit. When all is said and done and we have walked in obedience to the voice and command of God we will be Blessed. It isn’t always about receiving Blessings though its about doing the will of the Father and doing the right this amidst all that we face. As you build yourself up in Faith and being obedient you will find yourself doing it all with no hassle whatsoever because you want to do right by your Father. This is a form of worship and praise unto God when we obey, when we do his will, it is a form of thanksgiving as well. His goodness, mercy, faithfulness, unconditional love just compels you to do right and embrace the new way of life and turn away from the old ways of stagnancy, defeat and failure.
Instant means to be immediate, prompt, urgent and swift, as the Jesus leads you in Faith you will be instant to do what it is you are called to do. In season and out of season no matter what you going through because you know that you have an expected end and a Blessed assurance. The spirit of the Lord says don’t change for anyone the style he has given you in which you operate, also do not compare yourself to others. This is where things lead to destruction, you begin to doubt yourself, your call, you begin to become insecure, self conscious because you took your eyes off your call and walk with God and placed it upon another person. We are all unique with different callings no one of us are the same, one thing we may have in common is the God that we serve (YHWH, YESHUA, JESUS). So that is who we are to follow as he leads us and guides us, when you take your eyes off of God and begin to put it upon another that’s when you loose focus and become discouraged and insecure. All of that hinders you from doing what the Lord has told us to do in 2 Timothy 4:2 (Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.)
We are not called to everyone, but there are a people that we are called to and God will bring them to you, or allow you to cross paths, ETC some way some how. God knows what he is doing all we have to do as his children, servants is to get out of his way and allow him to be who he is which is the sovereign one. When we try to force or go looking for all of these things this is when we allow danger to come knocking at our door, this is when we invite unnecessary battles. Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.– Matthew 10:16. We do not know who God will send us to preach, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. But as he fills our mouth and leads us and gives us the proper wisdom to execute we must be obedient. He says with all longsuffering because there will be persecutions, challenges ETC as we walk in obedience but the Lord goes ahead of us And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed. -Deuteronomy 31:8. Say this in the name of Jesus I will choose Faith over fear at all times declare it over your life daily.
As God uses you it is important to work out your salvation with fear and trembling and live a consecrated life. So that you do not fall prey to the whiles of the devil, so you can hear his voice clearly, so that you can operate in Gods wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Discernment is necessary so that you are not taken out by the schemes, plots, plans of the wicked one (the devil). Temptations will come, ones you never imagined but as you overcome them through Jesus Christ you will be a stronger and more vigilant person. You will not be overtaken by the temptations but rather you will overtake and overcome them with the power of God. If you are in your preparation season and waiting season embrace this time and seasons because when you come out you will be all that God has spoken to you, shown you and that you prayed and desire to be. REVIEVE THE OIL BEING POURED OUT ON YOU IN THESE SEASONS!. Embrace those attacks and pray without ceasing, embrace that isolation and draw closer to God. Embrace trying to figure out if God is still with you so you can know his voice without a doubt and trust him. There will even be moments where you will go through attacks to the point where you wont come out until you humble yourself and ask for help in Jesus name. God wants to break all pride and deliver you from pride in such instances because Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.– Proverbs 16:18.
Saint stay instant in season and out of season, preach that Gospel and trust God in the process and in everything you are going through and face. You will not die but live and declare the wonderful works of the Lord in the land of the living in Jesus name. This may sound so cliche but “Every test is a testimony” so you have to make it your business to get through that test, challenge and season of your life because you will testify in Jesus name.
