In this walk with the Lord, it is key to put God first. In all we do, we are to prioritize Him. What does this look like? communicating with him daily, about your decisions, choices, plans, and committing your day to him. So that he leads you by his Holy Spirit and direct you to make the right choices and decisions. Without God we go through life aimlessly like a vagabond, and in doing so we will be unfulfilled. When man is unfulfilled we become frustrated, upset, irritable and unhappy. When Jesus said “ But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” in Matthew 19:26. He meant it and the proof shows in our daily lives, When we try to do things in our own efforts without him things fail and they do not prosper. We become weary and burdened trying to do things on our own without him. He was clear when he said But with God all things are possible.
What is causing you to do things on your own without God? maybe you need guidance on your walk with him? maybe you are trying to do it all alone without the brethren?. Who knows? I want you to know, beloved, that if you accept the help he has sent to you on this journey, you will surely succeed. You will prosper. As we see Jesus had his 12 disciples and his 12 disciples had Jesus and they all learned from him. In the beginning, God gave Eve to Adam. He did this because he said it is not good for man to be alone. We need human contact. We need people to build with. Someone is strong in something where you are weak and vice versa. No one person is equipped with everything to do whatever it is they need to do. God sends help. It is your job to discern who he has sent. You must accept the help. It takes great humility. It will not be easy, but it is possible. God’s grace is enough for you. Trust in God. It takes great Faith to get the help that the Lord has sent you. You must believe in God.
He will not send you someone who will do you wrong or harm you. This is when the mind renewal is necessary because you need the Lord to fix your perception. Pulling down strongholds that keep you from receiving from him and discerning properly. Trauma and unhealed trauma messes up our perception and how we view things. (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;). Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;. -2 Corinthians 10:4-5. Our help may not look like we expect them to, sound as we expect them to, may not be where we are in Christ ETC. This is where God is trying to mature us, for us to be able to around people with different personalities, everyone is different and unperfect. We all have flaws and we have to learn to accept people flaws. What if God placed such a person in your life for you to pray for them in your prayer closet? and love them openly?.
We never know what God is doing. The only way we can perceive what He is doing is through Faith. By abiding in Faith through obedience, we gain understanding. Check out what God tells us in Isaiah 55:8-9 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Then he lets us know in Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.“. Pride is a wicked spirit and it is very cunning and make you feel justified in deception. Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. -Proverbs 16:18. How is your life right now? are you in destruction? have you fallen and pride has deceived you to thinking you are upright?. Repent, think about your life, amend your ways. We do not know everything. This is why there are different members in the body of Christ. We all need one another in some way, somehow. No one makes it far on their own. You will not see all things wrong with yourself on your own; who can correct you?. God has given you a pastor or a leader in him to guide you and help you on this journey here on this earth.
