For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the Heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. -Isaiah 55:8-9. Our thoughts are not like Gods nor our ways as his, this is why he always lets us know to walk in Faith always and rebuked many in the word for their lack of Faith and doubt. In Faith is the only way that you can know his thoughts and ways which are not like ours. It is Faith over fear because as you shrink back due to fear his thoughts nor way will not be made known unto you. Without your Faith it is impossible to please God. Which is why when the Lord commands you to do something it seems much bigger than you. It is because his ways and thoughts are much higher than ours. It is important for us to believe in ourselves because without belief in yourself along with your belief in Jesus you will not feel adequate to do what he calls you to do. The Lords call upon our life is a higher calling which can only be accomplished in and through the Holy Spirit which is why we must be filled with the Holy Spirit.
It is not by might nor by power but only by the Holy Spirit of God thus saith the Lord. Without the Holy Spirit you will not be able to step out in Faith to do the impossible and tap into the supernatural. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, The evidence of things not seen. You also need the word of God to build your Faith, because Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. As long as you stay away from your daily bible devotions and studies your Faith will be quenched. You will begin to become more carnal and looking at your circumstances instead of being focused on Jesus Christ. Jesus will renew your mind if you allow him to, he will not force you. It is a conscious decision that we all as individual believers allow the Lord to help us in the process of mind renewal. Outside of Faith, your trust and belief in God you will not be able to comprehend the things of God it will seem as foolishness to you.
This is a serious scripture because many think and believe that they know Gods thought’s and way’s when they do not. They think they do because they are deceived and have pride in them. Beloved nobody knows the thoughts and ways of God, only in Faith one does, and when you know his word, his will. Outside of that there is no way that you will know his ways. All you will know outside of him is fear, worry, doubt, insecurities, anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, all the works of the flesh ETC. As you continue on in Faith you will begin to know more of his ways and thoughts as he reveals them to you through revelation, wisdom, knowledge and understanding. All for a purpose for you to be a Blessing unto others and even for you to be delivered and overcome, even to have prayer stradegy.
Your purpose is in Faith, in God’s ways and thoughts you just must be willing to break out of the conformity of logic. Having to know everything hinders you and keeps you stagnated, going around in circles. It keeps you fearful, frustrated, hostile, depressed, anxious, just pure misery and torment. The Lord is bringing you out of torment and misery in this hour but you must obey/comply with him. Step out of your comfort zone, stand against all odds. If you’ve read my previous post about I said God is strengthening you and building you up. We are in the army of the Lord and last time I’ve checked in the Army there are not weak soldier’s mind & body (we have an advantage because we have mind, body & spirit). They are strong, tough, resilient, obedient, humble, they take correction, they walk in unity, they protect one another and they are a family in a sense, they aren’t offended when their sergeant yells at them and rebukes them.
Us in the Army of the Lord are for some reason lacking in some of those qualities and the Lord Jesus Christ is working on us and Holy Spirit working within us. God wants us his children to yield to the process, allow him to work in us. So that we can stand like the Army in the natural and come together to advance the Kingdom of God. And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand. -Mark 3:24-25. The only times that the Lord said that he came to bring a separation was between family and the unbeliever and the believer never his body which is the church. Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. -Matthew 10:34. Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. -Luke 12:51-53.
Those two scriptures there clearly shows that Isaiah 55:8-9 where he says his ways are not ours and our thoughts not as his. People believe they are supposed to be close to their family or even be super friendly with the world to win them over to Christ. Nope you will be defiled, contaminated and you will surely compromise. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. –Romans 12:2. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. -2 Corinthians 6:17. This is all done by Faith in which you will become a doer of the word of God and not a hearer only decieving yourself. Ask the Lord to increase your Faith and help your unbelief in Jesus name. Repent and ask the Lord to forgive you for being disobedient and rebellious. Seek his face and dwell in his presence, get personal and transparent in Jesus name. Shalom.
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. -Proverbs 3:5-6.
