And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart and multiply my signs and wonders in the land of Egypt. But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments. And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them. And Moses and Aaron did as the LORD commanded them, so did they. -Exodus 7:3-6
As we see in this text, the Lord intentionally hardened Pharoah’s heart against Moses and the children of Israel. So that his will can be fulfilled and his power can be manifested in the land of Egypt. Could it have been to build the Faith of the children of Israel and Moses? or possibly for Pharoah to humble himself under the mighty hand of God?. Pharoah had put the children of Israel under some serious bondage, and Moses had a mandate from the Lord to approach Pharoah and to tell him to let God’s people go free. But as we see in Exodus 7:3-6 God said he would harden Pharoah’s heart which he did. Every time a plague came, Pharoah’s heart was hardened until God sent a judgment to kill all of the firstborns of the Egyptian, old and young. Only until then was he able to release the children of Israel from slavery.
See God has the final say and judgement in every situation. Whoever is a Pharoah in your life, that heart is hardened to you; you must be able to discern whether it’s from God or the devil operating in your life due to legal rights. Sin gives the devil access to operate in your life through people, places, and things. When you are living right before the eyes of God, when you go through certain situations as the children of Israel while you are faithful to God, it can be orchestrated by him. To fulfill a certain purpose in your life, it is possible to increase your Faith, to mature and strenghen you, even to deliver you and show you your heart, to help your unbelief, to draw you closer and deeper in yourself, and to change and shift things around you. The most important thing not to do is to become so in yourself that you think you are the issue when God is trying to get your attention to focus on him. Trust and belief and true trust and belief is needed in such situations to get through these times of testing.
The children of Israel had Moses and Aaron, but we today have the Lord Jesus Christ, the Author and finisher of our Faith. In and through him all things are possible, He calls us to follow him and be obedient. To be on fire or cold, not lukewarm, to be diligent and be fruitful, bearing much fruit. The Lord never tells us to stop anything when the Pharaoh with a hardened heart in our life is pursuing us. He calls us to walk by Faith and not by sight, to trust in him with all of our heart and lean not unto our own understanding but in all our ways to acknowledge him, and he will direct our paths. We see in times when the children of Israel began to murmur and complain that God sent fiery serpents amongst them. Then, in his mercy, he told Moses to get a fiery serpent and put it upon a pole so that whoever looks upon it shall be healed of the bites and be healed. Us we have the gift of repentance, Gods mercy and Grace. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.-1 John 1:9. During that time when God sent those fiery serpents in the Book of Numbers, many of the children of Israel died. For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.-2 Corinthians 7:10.
In these times, remain productive by doing all that the Lord has called you to do, whatever it may be. Also recieve your deliverance, stay in the word of God, also hearing the word of God, be a doer of it not a hearer only decieving yourself. Do not allow the distractions to stop you, allow the Lord to mature you through adversity. Take this time and embrace it as he strengthens you in the spirit, whatever takes you away from him the Lord says remove it from before you and replace it with him. In this time, the Lord has been looking upon our idolatry and has not been pleased. We see how Moses went up to the mountain to meet with God for 40 days and 40 nights to receive the 10 commandments. The Lord God Almighty told Moses to get down because the children of Israel had fallen into idolatry worshipping the golden calf. God is preparing you for what he has called you to dobeloved through the adversity. Which has been predestined before you were formed in your mother’s womb, he said he knew you and ordained you to be a preist/prophet unto the nations. As long as you miss this time and get caught up with Pharoah’s intimidation, manipulation, and domination instead of overcoming and conquering through Christ who strengthens you. You will be delaying, hindering, and setting yourself back, opening the door wide for the devil and his agents to attack, harass and afflict you. Blaming the devil, witches and warlocks and everyone around you instead of the real issue is your lack of Faith and laziness.
Do not allow that Pharaoh in your life to dominate, intimidate, and manipulate you, which is all witchcraft. Overcome your Pharoah by following Jesus Christ and being obedient, prayerful, wise, and Faithful to the Lord. Avenge not yourself, give place to wrath, vengeance belongeth unto God he will repay. Hand over the battle and your burdens unto the Lord and let go and let God. Allow him to fight the battle as you are in Faith in obedience, faithful unto God. Use your authority, stand firm, be still and see the salvation of the Lord, he is fighting all your battles as long as you are doing your part. If you remain dormant, lazy, lackadaisical, with no prayer, no fasting, no Bible, no devotion you will be overtaken, so take heed and amend your ways. Repent unto God for allowing the distractions to blindside and sidetrack you, repent and ask God for mercy for your lack of obedience and faithfulness unto him and return back to your first works in Jesus name. Repent unto God for grieving and quenching his Holy Spirit and asking for a fresh baptism of the Holy Spirit in Jesus name. He will restore and renew you in Jesus name, As you obey and be Faithful, God is fighting for you, the Lord is on your side and he will deal with that Pharoah in your life. To the point that Pharoah will have to loose you and let you go free out of that slavery. Shalom
But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. -Genesis 50:20
What then shall we say to these things? If God be for us, Who can be against us?. -Romans 8:31
