13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. -1 Corinthians 10:13
Do not think for one second that you are battling what your battling on your own, there are many facing the same thing. It may not be in the same sequence as your events but it can be similar. God is Faithful and he never ever will leave you nor forsake you in the good and the bad times. He is always there the thing is are you focusing on him? are you drawing nigh unto Jesus? are you in your word? are you stirring up your Faith and praying?. I know that when temptations and trials come you can become distracted because of the battles you may be facing that may momentarily seem as if you wont get out no time soon. You may feel weary and burdened and may have taken your eyes off of Jesus in the midst of the storm. Guess What God will not allow you to suffer to be tempted above what you are able to handle. He will quicken you in your spirit to praise and worship, He will engulf the room with his presence, He will send his word to deliver you out of your destructions (these are one of the ways of escape).
I want to remind someone that you have to stir up the gift that is within you this is why the word tells us to stir it up. It is a action that we have to take, sometimes it may seem like its a hassle but you have to press and call on the name of Jesus. He will answer he will be right there its just that you have to exercise your Faith in all circumstances. Though it may look as if the temptation is trying to overtake you, know that you have the victory in Christ Jesus already. Read 1 Corinthians 10:13 and meditate on it, because that is a scripture of victory. He makes the way of escape to leave out of every unfavorable situation you just have to walk by Faith and not by sight. Sometimes the thing that takes your Faith may seem as if it is not what it is that will bring you out of the situation but you need to trust God that it is and follow Jesus Christ.
The job of our adversary the devil is to tempt us and to attempt to hinder us, Our job is to remember that be have the victory and to believe and trust in Jesus. Jesus is above it all and has overcame it all, The only way you will not overcome is if you walk in disobedience. By not following Jesus Christ and listening to the still small voice of God which will direct your paths. In the trying times of temptations you will be bombarded with vain thoughts, lean not unto your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge God and he will direct your path. We also are admonished to cast down every thought that exalts itself above the knowledge of God in the name of Jesus. Speak out loud and rebuke the devil, when you speak in authority the thoughts will cease because there is power in the name of Jesus. Faith without works is dead, Without Faith it is impossible to please God, Stir up your most Holy Faith and speak to those mountains and command them to be removed in the name of Jesus.
The text in 1 Corinthians 10:12 tells us that if any of us think we stand take heed unless we fall, we cant think that we always got it all together. To the point where we aren’t being vigilant and at the gate praying without ceasing. We are to always pray and not faint because the adversary is waiting for us to become distracted and lukewarm to devour and attack us. Its basically saying and I am paraphrasing, to be humble and not puffed up in pride, because pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. We are in the end times the time is nearing for the return of our soon coming King Jesus Christ of Nazareth. So much temptation and people are becoming more evil and wicked you must be sober and vigilant taking heed unless you fall in these days. When I tell you these spirits that unsaved people are hosting are very cunning, crafty, seductive, and luring so you cant just yoke up in a friendship or relationship with anyone or anything. The Lord lets us know to come out from amongst them be ye seperate (Holy) , Saith the Lord and touch not the unclean things, and I will receive you.
The following verse in 1 Corinthians 10:14 lets us know “Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.”. Not only are the temptations Idolatry but Idolatry will lead you into temptations as well. It is your job and duty to flee from idolatry, anything that is placed before God and takes up your personal time with him. It has to go and be removed, It can cost you your relationship with the Lord God Almighty. That is what the children of Israel fell into every time Moses went up to the mountain to speak to God, he would come down to find them in Idolatry. Why? because they became bored waiting on Moses to come back after hearing from God. Does this sound like you? becoming bored? there’s no reason to feel like that because God always has something for us to do. The real thing is that you may be lazy or lackadaisical and you need to be restored and even repent for quenching the Holy Ghost, so that you can do the will of the Father. Do not give up or give in, God has prepared the way of escape for you to remain Righteous before him. The choice is yours to come out of complacency and get back into alignment with the will of God. Blessings Shalom.
