My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations, knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with every wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. -James 1:2-8
James let us know in the epistle to count it all joy when we fall into different temptations because while your Faith is being tried patience is being built up. You are being made stronger spiritually, it is not for you to falter, murmur nor complain but to get into the presence of the Lord in thanks and praise in advance because you are maturing in Christ through the battle. Notice through the temptations that you encounter the Lord keeps you through all and leads you out of it no matter how difficult it may be or seem to you. The Bible Declares that the Jesus is made strong in your weaknesses. He makes ways where there seems to be none, and he feeds you his word through the test’s, The Bible is your best friend. The word of God lets us know in James 1:13-14 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of Adonai, for Adonai cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed. As you continue to pursue God, following Jesus the devil will throw many temptations your way to try and get you to fall even backslide. Thank God for Jesus that we have Victory on our side that will not allow us to fall but present a way out of every temptation we have to make the decision every time to go the way of escape. Even to wage war against the enemy rebuking him and overcoming him through the Blood of Jesus and praising the Lord through it all for his keeping sand saving power.
Patience is needed to endure in this Christian walk with the Lord so that we can be steadfast unmovable always abounding in the Faith. Without Patience you will be presumptuous you will become frustrated and folks without patience will always end up feeling defeated or hopeless. Why because they cannot wait nor endure while faced with a trial or temptation, they expect it to be over as soon as they feel it is too much or as soon as they ask God to get them out of whatever it may be. When God is there right with us just expecting us to trust and believe in him through the trying of our Faith that we are coming out in Victory. When we do come out, we will be stronger spiritually, mentally and physically ready to take on whatever else the devil may throw our way. Let Patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire wanting nothing, Endure the temptation in the strength of the Lord allow patience to be worked in you in the midst of what you are facing. The Lord is perfecting you in the midst of it and making you whole so that you will not want nothing but more of him.
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of Adonai that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. Wisdom is the principal thing, while in those trying times of your Faith you will need the Wisdom of Adonai to continue pressing. Ask the Lord God Almighty for wisdom knowledge and understanding and he will give it to you to overcome. We have to ask in prayer through seeking his face even through reading his word. The word of God declares that the Lord will never leave us nor forsake us nor have us begging for bread. He is always here but us believers have to make it our duty to get into his presence not just during test and trials but even on our good days we must never leave nor forsake the presence of Adonai. Never forget to praise and thank the Lord always being grateful because he could’ve left you where you were, but he looked upon you and said I want to deliver you and set you free and use you to my Glory, never forget where you came from and how he brought you out of Egypt. Temptations come yes but if you are walking in disobedience and rebellion daily you are allowing in unnecessary temptations, test and trials that could have been avoided if you followed Jesus and walked in obedience. As I write this, I hear the Spirit of the Lord tell me that many people invite unnecessary trials and temptations into their life through giving the devil a foothold into their lives. Then they murmur and complain while in deception to the fact of them allowing the devil in and tormenting spirits. You got to repent and walk after God and follow his word even read his word and get into his presence.
I hear the spirit of the Lord saying many are in idolatry putting so many things before him that they have no time for him. You are trying to fit him into your schedule when he should be top priority, you must get your priorities in order. Stop complaining and playing the victim when you are the one walking doubt not trusting the Lord that he will provide for you, so you overcompensate in the things of this world instead of relying on the Lord to provide all of your needs. You are not seeking the Lord as you should when he calls you, you are too tired and fatigued because you are taken by the cares of the world. I want to tell you sir or ma’am take a leap of Faith when he calls unto you forsake all that you are doing and answer him and take time in his presence. As you do so you will not be overtaken by the cares of this world, your warfare will decrease you will grow spiritually, your answers and all that you need is in the Lord God Almighty not in this world. A relationship with the Lord in and through Jesus Christ is CRUCIAL if not you will feel defeated you will be miserable and a complainer. God hates a complainer; freedom is accessible to you in and through Jesus Christ what you need is accessible to you, but you have to press into Jesus and seek the face of the Lord. Faith without works is dead you can try to wait on handouts beloved but right now I want to save you the time, heartache and premature aging they will not come you got to get busy. As you become productive in your Faith the Lord will grant you favor what seemed impossible or what the devil told you is impossible will become possible in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah praise be unto the Lord God Almighty.
Whatever you need ask the Lord God Almighty in Faith without wavering without doubt without unbelief without second guessing. When you waver, you show the Lord unbelief he says in his word if you ask, and doubt do not think you will receive ANYTHING from him. You have to trust and believe, and I want to let you know that God is ABLE to do anything. The verse goes on to say a double Minded man is unstable in all of his ways, that means a split mind. One side you believe the other side you don’t, ask God to pull down those demonic strongholds from your past if you have trust issues due to man failing you. I want to let you know that God is not like man he is sovereign he will not let you down he will not lie to you he will not deceive you he will not manipulate you. But he will will come through and be true to his word, Adonai gives liberally to all that ask he will not upbraid you for asking him. He will provide, “Jesus said unto them, if thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” -Mark 9:23. “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” -1 Corinthians 2:14. My brother My sister i leave you with this you need the Holy Spirit seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit each and every day and welcome the Holy spirit every day and speak to the Holy spirit it is a person. It is the Spirit of God in which you can overcome sin temptation and the devil without the Holy spirit it will be difficult for you to walk by Faith and not by sight because you will be carnal walking in the flesh and not the spirit. Everything spoken of here it is not by might not by power, but it is only in, through and by the Holy spirit of God, The Holy Ghost the Ruach Hakodesh the FIRE of God.
1 Corinthians 6:15-20
15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
