5 Thus saith the Lord; cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. 6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. 7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. 8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. 9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? 10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. – Jeremiah 17:5-10
This passage of scripture is very self-explanatory and straight to the point, we are not to trust anything above God nor make anything out strength other than the LORD God Almighty. To do so we are resorting to idolatry and witchcraft you become cursed doing so you will be spiritually in dry waste lands which will manifest physically to where you are in lack (spiritually, emotionally and physically). Murmuring begins to take place because of discontentment because man or anything else cannot help you nor satisfy your needs only God can. You will be so blinded by negativity and deception that you will not even be able to perceive or discern when good things are coming. If not, careful this gives the devil a foothold into your life to make you to lose Hope in God and drift farther away into idolatry and sin. Thank God for Jesus Christ of Nazareth in which is the mediator between us and God so that we can have a relationship with the Father through him. We are to put our trust and Hope in Jesus Christ Gods only Begotten son who died so that we may have life and life more abundantly. Not in the things of this world nor people because they will surely fail you, and God will put it in such a way that they will fail and reject you so that you can come back to him. I thank the Lord for his Mercy and Grace which endures forever who does not leave us in a fallen state but always picks us back up and shows us, us so that we can come before him in prayer for deliverance and mercy.
From since I’ve been saved, he has been the only one whom I’ve put my trust in, for some it may not be this way for whatever reason, but the key is to receive the Love of God. Getting in his word so you can get to know him more get to know about our Father who art in heaven hollowed be his name. When the Lord God Almighty is whom, you trust in and believe in you are Blessed and highly favored. He will continue to Bless you according to his riches in Glory in Christ Jesus he will supply all of your needs, he will protect and keep you, he will surely be your covering. How wonderful it is to live in the Blessings of the Lord verses the curse, the curse is very grievous and not something to want to live under. It is misery and negativity and habitual demonic cycles, Jesus Christ who is the author and the finisher of our Faith is more than able to break that curse off of your life. Just repent and tell the Lord you surrender and to turn the situation around and to fill you with the Holy spirit of God so that you may overcome and be victorious he will do it. If you are a believer but your Faith was not up to par, and you’ve allowed unbelief, doubt and fear to creep in repent and rededicate your life to the Lord and get serious about God believe the word of the Lord and Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.
When you trust in the Lord you will be as a tree planted by the waters with the streams of provision, healing, deliverance, restoration, protection, wisdom, knowledge and understanding flowing by. That spreadeth her roots by the river, roots run deep you will be rooted in the Lord when you make the Lord your strength. You will not lack when you are rooted in the Lord you will always be provided for, we may not know how it will come but the Lord will always provide for his children. The word of God lets us know he will never leave us nor forsake us nor have us begging for bread Hallelujah and that the lines will fall unto us in pleasant places. We will be blessed in the city and in the field, my question is to you why isn’t the Lord the only one you are putting your trust in and making your strength? . In our weaknesses he is made strong so we must confess that we are weak and we need his help the minute you act as if you got it all together and you do not need his help you are defeated already. Some people like to follow their heart which the Lord lets us know is deceitfully wicked.
Your own heart can and will lead you astray we are to in all things acknowledge God and do things by the leading of the Holy Ghost. The word of God declares lean not unto thine own understanding but in all acknowledge God and he will direct your paths. Your heart would confuse you and make you become double minded. The word tells us a double minded man is unstable in all of his ways. Your heart will trick you and lead you to put your trust in man or something outside of yourself instead of putting your trust and eyes on Jesus Christ. The word tells us that the devil appears as an angel so when you are following the leading of your heart instead of the spirit of God he will begin to lead you astray using scripture or encouraging words to deceive you. Why because you didn’t acknowledge God you leaned to your own understanding. Discernment is key, I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. -Jeremiah 17:10.
The Lord God Almighty, searches our hearts and he says our hearts are deceitfully wicked, who can know it?. Now dont get me wrong there are folks out there with pure and good hearts with great intentions, yes. But because of our Adamic sinful nature it can become wicked when we make not the Lord our strength when we do not put God first. When we lean unto our own understanding and not acknowledge him in all of our ways. When we become carnal and step out of the spirit and allow our flesh to rise. The word of God tells us walk in the spirit and we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. The Lord always makes mention of the children following after the wicked vain imaginations of their hearts. Instead of trusting in Jehovah, when this happened they would be worshipping graven images practicing idolatry and witchcraft which are abominable in the sight of God.
Reins are what they use in horse stables they attach it unto the horse so that they can direct the way in which the horse should go when the horseman rides it. The Lord says that he trys the reins to direct you to go into the correct path to set you on the right path. He trys them he doesn’t force nothing upon anyone he gives us free will to choose the path we want to take. But he still trys the reins so that you can go the right way and choose life which he would rather you to choose. He gives unto everyman though according to your ways and what you truly choose if you choose to buck and fight against his leading he’ll try to get you right and stand before you to get you to stop fighting. When you keep bucking and you remain out of line he will give you according the the way that you choose according do the fruit of your doings. You see horses when they continue to buck and fight against the horseman and are irritable they bring the horses back to the stable and they are tied back up. Many of times they get a different horse who is in the stables who is more cooperative and willing to take instruction and correction and not fight against the horseman but will be an asset to him. Dont buck and fight against God just surrender and give it all to him. This will keep you from waisting time, premature aging and sickness. God Bless you Shalom.
My prayer is that my brother and sister who is reading this will draw closer to the Lord God Almighty in Jesus name. I pray Father God that you will wrap my brothers and sisters in your arms in Jesus name. That you would shield and protect them from counterfeit people or things that would come masquerading as if they have good intentions towards them but when in truth it is a plan of the adversary the devil to draw them away from you in Jesus name I pray that the Blood of Jesus will cover them from the crown of their heads to the souls of their foot bottoms I pray that you will fill them afresh with your Holy Ghost in Jesus name strengthen their discernment so they are not deceived and perfect them your word says perfect Love casts out Fear in Jesus name. I thank you for Blessing them oh Lord through your word and setting the captives free to you be all the Glory praise and Honor in Jesus name. I thank you for looking upon their afflictions and sending your word to deliver them out of all of their destructions to you be all the Glory in Jesus mighty and matchless name I pray Amen Amen and Amen Hallelujah Jesus Gloryyyyy
